Delegate work

Delegate from Linear using the routing configured for a codebase, or add the condux label to a GitHub issue in an imported repository. Condux creates the label during repository import, so GitHub-only teams do not need a Linear connection.

Condux is suited to work that can be delivered and reviewed through a pull request, including:

  • Product features and improvements
  • Bugs with enough context to investigate
  • UI and workflow changes
  • Refactoring with a clear desired outcome
  • Test and reliability improvements

The issue can be concise. Include the outcome, user context, constraints, or evidence you already know, but do not delay delegation just to manufacture a long specification.

Before implementation, Condux reviews the issue in the context of the repository and the existing conversation.

  • If the request is actionable, work continues without rewriting the issue or interrupting you.
  • If Condux can resolve a detail from the codebase, it does so.
  • If a consequential product choice is genuinely missing, Condux asks one focused question on the source issue.

The run waits for your reply without consuming an active coding environment. After you answer, grooming continues and implementation begins once the work is ready.

Condux creates a run and moves through the stages that apply to the change. You can open the run from Linear, the GitHub issue status comment, or the dashboard. When the delivery pipeline succeeds, Condux links the resulting GitHub pull request back to the issue.

Read Follow a run to understand the progress and evidence you will see.
